John Flanagan (triathlete)

John Flanagan (born July 17, 1975 in Oahu , Hawaii ) is an American swimmer and triathlete .

Career

John Flanagan was a swimmer for the US national team for several years. After narrowly missing out on a starting place at the 2008 Olympic Games , he switched to triathlon.

For several years now, he has been considered the fastest swimmer in Ironman competitions . Flanagan now lives in Honolulu .
