Jonathan David Bellion (born December 26, 1990 in Long Island , NY ), called Jon Bellion , is an American pop musician and songwriter .

Career

Jon Bellion was also a passable basketball player in his youth. During his high school days, he discovered his musical talent and began to compose songs on his brother's keyboard. After school, he went to the local Five Towns College , where he took music classes and graduated. He also performed on Long Island during college.

In 2011 he began to publish mixtapes and immediately attracted so much attention with the first Scattered Thoughts Vol. 1 that he got a contract as a songwriter a year later. In the same year he wrote with Jason Derulo his hit Trumpets , which reached number 1 in Australia and the top 10 in many other countries. He was also involved in the song The Monster , which became a number one hit for Eminem and Rihanna in many countries and earned them a Grammy Award . With this and through his internet publications, Bellion gained enough attention to start a career as a musician. He also went extensively on tour. For the first time, even in the charts in 2015 he came as a guest singer on the single Beautiful Now by Zedd , resulting in the Billboard Hot 100 was able to place.

For 2016 Bellion finished his debut album and released the song All Time Low in advance . With the album The Human Condition he entered the US album charts at number 5 in June . A little later, All Time Low also climbed into the top 20 of the single charts and reached platinum status . At the beginning of 2017, the song was also released in Europe and was able to place in the charts in German-speaking countries, among others.
