Feed Me (born August 22, 1984 ; actually Jonathan Gooch ) is a British music producer and DJ from Hertfordshire . He first gained fame as Spor with numerous drum and bass and neurofunk productions, later as Feed Me with dubstep and electro house releases. He also produced as Unicron , Seventh Stitch and with Code X as Final Reckoning .

history

Gooch developed the pseudonym Spor based on one of his first acquired sample packages, which was called Spore Tactics . In order to be able to design the lettering better than graffiti , he left out the “e” at the end of the name. Shortly afterwards, a school friend showed him the music genre drum and bass, whereupon Gooch began to experiment with suitable software.

Much of his early productions were distributed through the Renegade Hardware music label . Releases on Barcode Recordings and Teebee's label Subtitles Recordings followed. Spor later founded the independent label Lifted Music , on which Gooch also released, together with Chris Renegade, the label boss of Renegade Hardware and the drum-and-bass producers Apex , Evol Intent and Ewun .

In the meantime Gooch is under contract as Feed Me with the music label Mau5trap Recordings . On the label of the progressive house DJ Deadmau5 , he mainly releases electro house and dubstep. He also produced numerous remixes for artists such as the Swedish singers September and Robyn and worked with the band Korn .

Gooch is a trained graphic designer and designs most of his covers himself.

In 2013, however, Gooch announced as Feed Me that they would be taking a break from DJing in order to be able to concentrate more on producing music again.
