Jonas Lauenstein

Jonas Kim Lauenstein (* 1987 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Jonas Lauenstein is the grandson of the actress and voice actress Tilly Lauenstein . He grew up in his native Berlin.

From 2008 to 2011 he completed his acting studies at the European Theater Institute Berlin (ETI). He played his first theater roles on the studio stage there. In July 2010 he performed as Moritz Stiefel in " Spring Awakening " with the "Friedrichshain Theater Band" . After completing his training, he received his first engagement at the German-Sorbian People's Theater in Bautzen in 2011 , where he was a permanent member of the ensemble until 2014. There he played Clyde in Clyde and Bonnie (2011), the student Carl Wertheimer in Die Mittagsfrau (2013) and Don Carlos (2014). He continued to appear as a guest there in some productions ( Der Steppenwolf ). From 2014 to 2017 he played the title role in Tschick again and again . In May 2014 Lauenstein won the advancement award of the 8th Saxon Theatertreffen in Leipzig . From autumn 2014 he appeared at the Junge Staatstheater Berlin , for example in the stage version Tigermilch (2014) after Stefanie de Velasco's debut novel of the same name , in the title role of the children's play Moritz in the advertising column (2016) and as Templar in Nathan der Weise (2015 -2017).

Occasionally Lauenstein also stood in front of the camera for film and television. In October / November 2016, he took on the role of Kai S. in the RTL television series Gute Zeiten, haben Zeiten , who steals the identity of the series main character Philipp Höfer ( Jörn Schlönvoigt ) and uses it to conduct drug deals. In March 2018 Lauenstein was in the ZDF series Hamburg Dockland in an episode supporting role as Jura - coach , who in the law student Lea Storm ( Laura Maria Heid is in love) to see. In the fairy tale film Die Galoschen des Glücks (2018), Lauenstein played the male lead, the kitchen boy Johann, who pretends to be a prince. In the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2019), Lauenstein had a leading role in the episode as the fiancé of a young doctor who is responsible for the death of her father.

Lauenstein also worked in commercials for Jägermeister and Payback and works as a voice actor . He lives in Berlin.
