Jordan Connor

Jordan Connor Yuen (born September 17, 1991 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian actor . He is best known for his role as Sweet Pea on the Riverdale television series .

life and career

Connor's father was born in Regina, Saskatchewan Province and is of Chinese descent; his mother is from Croatia . Connor was in Canada in Calgary in the province of Alberta and grew up in Delta in the province of British Columbia on. In high school he played football and drama . He received a soccer scholarship to the University of British Columbia , but had to give up his soccer career in his sophomore year due to a broken leg. After working as a stuntman , including first for Hellcats , he decided to leave university for an acting career. For five years he trained at the Railtown Actor Studio in Vancouver .

In 2017 , after auditioning for other roles in Riverdale , he received the role of Sweet Pea, which was originally only intended for four episodes, but was extended for him. The following series projects were 2019 Hospital Show and Eine wie Alaska . In 2020 he won the first episode of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race under the drama name Babykins LaRoux.

Private

Connor has been engaged to his longtime girlfriend since September 2018.
