Jorge Ignacio García Cuerva

Jorge Ignacio García Cuerva (born April 12, 1968 in Río Gallegos , Santa Cruz Province , Argentina ) is an Argentine clergyman and appointed Roman Catholic Bishop of Río Gallegos .

Life

Jorge Ignacio García Cuerva received on 24 October 1997 by the Bishop of San Isidro , Alcides Jorge Pedro Casaretto , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 20, 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Lacubaza and auxiliary bishop in Lomas de Zamora . The Bishop of Lomas de Zamora , Jorge Rubén Lugones SJ , gave him on March 3, 2018 the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Paz , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Isidro, Óscar Vicente Ojea Quintana , the Bishop Emeritus of San Isidro, Alcides Jorge Pedro Casaretto, the Bishop of Viedma , Esteban María Laxague SDB , and the Bishop of Río Gallegos , Miguel Ángel D'Annibale .

On January 3, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Río Gallegos.
