José Anuno

José Tanesib Anuno (born July 20, 1966 in Kiubose , Naimeco , Oe-Cusse Ambeno , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor Anuno is a member of the Partido Democrático (PD) party and belongs to the Atoin Meto ethnic group .

Career

Anuno attended elementary school of the Portuguese military from 1972 to 1974 and, after the Indonesian invasion in 1976, elementary school in Naimeco. This was followed by the SDK Oe-Cusse school from 1978 to 1980, the pre-secondary school Santo Antonio Oe-Cusse from 1980 to 1983 and the St. José secondary school from 1983 to 1986.

Anuno studied at Universitas Sam Ratulangi in Indonesia from 1986 to 1990 and then worked as a civil servant. In 1995 he received another degree from Gadjah Mada University . In independent East Timor, Anuno was director of the Ministry of Finance for Oe-Cusse Ambeno from 2001 to 2007 , district administrator of Oe-Cusse Ambeno from 2007 to 2013 and secretary for the municipality of Oe-Cusse Ambeno in the Ministry of State Administration from 2013 to 2014. From 2015 to 2017, he was director of the Oe-Cusse Ambeno Special Administrative Region.

In the 2017 elections, Anuno ran for 11th place on the PD's electoral list and failed because the PD only received seven seats.

On September 29, 2017 Anuno was appointed Deputy Minister for State Administration in the new government and sworn in on October 3. His term of office as Vice Minister ended when the Eighth Government of East Timor took office on June 22, 2018.
