Before the 2015 territorial reform, Naimeco had an area of ​​40.55 km². Now there are 36.32 km². The Suco is located in the south of the administrative office Pante Macassar. To the north are the Sucos Cunha , Bobocasse and Costa , which also belong to Pante Macassar . To the southwest, across the Kinloki River, lies Suco Bobometo ( Oesilo Administrative Office ). In the southeast, Naimeco borders on neighboring Indonesia . The Bimilo flows along part of the state border and flows into the Kinloki. The Kinloki also separates Naimeco from Cunha. Eventually it joins the Abanal , which flows along part of the border with Bobocasse, to form the Tono .

The country road from Pante Macassar to Passabe crosses the west of the Sucos . At it lies Baqui , the largest place in sucos , at which the places Nunete , Saenpeo , Kiupenu and Kinloki are located . The villages of Bilahuk , Najaimuti , Kiubose (Quibose) , Nunuhle , Kiukole and Kafun are located near the Abanal River . The town of Bobonus ( Bobonoe ) is also close to the Kinloki River . The villages of Maoanese , Bonemese , Sufmuti and Nubani are located near the center of Sucos . To the east are Noque ( Noce , Moce ), Nuahatan ( Nuabatan ), Teinae ( Tenae ) and Nunsena .

Primary schools and secondary schools ( Escola Secundaria Baqui and Noque ) can be found in Baqui and Noque. Baqui also has a community health center.

The four Aldeia Baqui , Bonemese , Noque and Teinae are located in the Suco .

Residents

4809 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 2481 are men and 2328 women. The population density is 132.4 inhabitants / km². There are 923 households in the Suco. Over 99% of the population list Baikeno as their mother tongue. A minority speaks Tetum Prasa .

history

Between March and April 2001, 50 residents died of diarrhea. Most of the victims were children.

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Cirpiano Afon was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Yacobus Bino won .

economy

Naimeco has a quarry and an asphalt mixing plant . Kinloki also has sand deposits that can be used to build buildings.
