Antoninho Bianco (born March 13, 1966 in Ainaro , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the FRETILIN party and its central committee.

Career

Bianco was awarded in 1988 a Bachelor in Public Administration in Kupang ( Indonesia ). In 1994 he graduated from Jakarta with a degree in political science .

At number 27 on the list, Bianco moved into the constituent assembly for FRETILIN in the elections on August 30, 2001 , but switched to the II. Interim government under the UN administration as Minister of Internal Administration on September 20, 2001 . In the first government of East Timor, which became independent again on May 20, 2002, Bianco became State Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs for the Prime Minister. In 2005, Bianco was sworn in as Minister for the Council of Ministers. In 2007, FRETILIN became the largest party in East Timor's national parliament in the 2007 parliamentary elections , but lost power to the coalition of the Aliança da Maioria parliamentarian. Bianco became a member of parliament. From 2007 to 2012 he was a member of the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Government Legislation (Commission A). After the parliamentary elections in 2012 he became a member of the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Justice and Anti-Corruption (Commission A).

In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , Bianco ran for FRETILIN in 12th place and successfully entered the national parliament . He was also a member of the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Anti-Corruption (Commission A). Since the minority government of FRETILIN and PD could not prevail in parliament, President Francisco Guterres dissolved it and called for new elections. In the new election on May 12, 2018, Bianco was able to move into parliament again at number 7 on the FRETILIN list, where FRETILIN is now the strongest opposition party.
