José Clemente Weber

José Clemente Weber (born September 24, 1937 in Venâncio Aires ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic former bishop of Santo Ângelo .

Life

José Clemente Weber was ordained a priest on December 22, 1962 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Porto Alegre and titular bishop of Gummi in Byzacena on March 23, 1994 . The Archbishop of Porto Alegre, Altamiro Rossato CSsR , donated him episcopal ordination on June 5th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Porto Alegre, Thadeu Gomes Canellas and Antônio do Carmo Cheuiche OCD . He chose ALIAS OVES HABEO as the motto .

On June 15, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Santo Ângelo . On April 24, 2013, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
