Joseph Amangi Nacua OFMCap (born January 5, 1945 in Mankayan ) is a Filipino religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Ilagan .

Life

Joseph Amangi Nacua joined the order of the Capuchins , made his profession on September 16, 1967, and was ordained a priest on June 26, 1971 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 10, 2008 Bishop of Ilagan. He was ordained episcopate on August 19th of the same year by the Archbishop of Tuguegarao , Diosdado Aenlle Talamayan ; Co- consecrators were Romulo Geolina Valles , Archbishop of Zamboanga , and Julius Sullan Tonel , Prelate of Ipil . The inauguration in the diocese of Ilagan took place on September 9, 2008.

Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on February 25, 2017.
