Joseph Wild

Joseph Wild (born September 2, 1901 in Mühltal / Obb .; † June 10, 1993 in Munich ) was a German master baker and president of the Central Association of German Crafts.

After attending elementary and vocational school as well as a private trade and language school, Wild completed an apprenticeship as a baker in Munich during the First World War and spent eight years in the United States of America from 1923 . After his return he opened his own bakery in Munich in 1931 and became a master baker in 1934. From 1945 he was a member of the boards of the Munich Bakers' Guild, the supervisory board of the Bäckerkunstmühle and the board of the regional association of the bakery trade. He was also a member of the Committee for Economics and Labor in Frankfurt am Main , co-founder and federal chairman of the guild health insurance funds . From 1954 to 1979 he was President of the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria , from 1955 to 1972 he was President of the Central Association of German Crafts and Chairman of the Working Group of the Bavarian Chamber of Crafts, he was also President of the German Chamber of Crafts . In 1965 he was elected President of the International Federation of Crafts , and from 1958 to 1962 he sat on the Economic and Social Committee of the EEC in Brussels . From 1956 to 1979 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate , most recently as senior president.
