Josh Liebenow (born August 8, 1980 in White Bear Lake , Minnesota ) is a former American ice hockey player who was last active with the Tilburg Trappers in the Eredivisie . Liebenow was right-shooter and acted as a right winger .
Career
Josh Liebenow began his career in 2001 at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the United States . After stopping at the Miami Manatees and the Huntsville Havoc, he joined the ECHL in 2005 with the Bakersfield Condors , where he became the fourth best scorer in his second season. In 2007 he came to Germany to join the Eispiraten Crimmitschau and immediately became the team's top goalscorer and second-best scorer. After two seasons with West Saxony, he moved to the Dutch first division club Tilburg Trappers , for whom he played until the end of the 2010/11 season and with which he won the Beker Cup , the Dutch cup competition. In March 2011, Liebenow declared his playing career over.
