White Bear Lake is located in the northeast suburb of Saint Paul at 45 ° 05'05 "north latitude and 93 ° 00'36" west longitude and extends over 21.19 km². The place is located on the lake of the same name .

The US Highway 61 leads as the main road through the city center. On the eastern outskirts of the city is the northern endpoint of Minnesota State Route 120 . In the northeast, at the confluence with US Highway 61, is the western terminus of Minnesota State Route 96 .
Several lines of the Soo Line Railroad and the Canadian National Railway meet in White Bear Lake .
