Judah Friedlander

Judah Friedlander (born March 16, 1969 in Gaithersburg , Maryland ) is an American actor and comedian . His trademark are trucker hats with eye-catching prints.

Career

Friedlander began his career as a sound engineer for the short documentary Who Is Chris Rock? which was released on July 2, 1989. In this film, comedian Chris Rock talks to his mother about his life and work.

Ten years later, he began working in front of the camera on the sitcom LateLine , in which he played a technician in three episodes. Other small appearances in series such as Chaos City and Lass es, Larry! followed. With small roles he was also in movies like my bride, her father and me , Zoolander and ... and then Polly came in. He played one of his first leading roles in the film American Splendor , which won awards at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival , and which also received the Oscar for “ Best Adapted Screenplay ”. He also gained international fame through his continuous role as author Frank Rossitano in the comedy television series 30 Rock , in which he wears a different trucker hat in each episode, which he says he makes himself.

In 2010 he published How to Beat Up Anybody: An Instructional and Inspirational Karate Book by the World Champion .
