Julio César Romero
Julio César Romero Insfrán (born August 28, 1960 in Luque , Paraguay ), also known by his nickname Romerito , is a former Paraguayan football player .
From Pele , he is ranked among the 125 greatest living soccer players and was he the only Paraguayans in the FIFA 100 was added. In 1985 Romerito was named South America's Footballer of the Year .
During his career he played for Sportivo Luqueño , New York Cosmos , Fluminense Rio de Janeiro , FC Barcelona , Puebla FC and Olimpia Asunción, among others .
For the Paraguayan national team Romerito completed a total of 32 international matches between 1979 and 1986 and took part in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico .
