Julius Jordan (politician, 1808)

Julius Jordan (born March 10, 1808 in Göttingen ; † May 9, 1886 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer in the Kingdom of Hanover . He was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament .

Life

Julius Jordan attended the Royal High School in Wetzlar and the Ducal High School in Holzminden . After graduating from high school, studied law at the Georg August University of Göttingen from Easter 1827 to Michaelis 1830 . In 1827 he became senior in the Corps Hannovera Göttingen .

He entered the civil service of the Kingdom of Hanover in 1831 and was an official assessor at the Göttingen office until 1852 . In 1852 he became a clerk of the office Scharzfels , 1860 for the office Dannenberg and 1864 for the office Reinhausen . After the annexation of the Kingdom of Hanover by Prussia , he retired in 1867 and lived as a private citizen in Frankfurt am Main .

From 1868 to 1871 Jordan was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Hanover 12 ( Göttingen , Duderstadt , Münden ) and the federal constitutional association . In this capacity he was also a member of the customs parliament from 1868.
