The Junge Polizei ( spelling JUNGE POLIZEI ) is the youth organization within the German Police Union ( DPolG) in the German Association of Officials (DBB). It was founded at the federal level on September 22, 1958 in Würzburg and is therefore the oldest youth organization within the police force. It includes all younger members of the German Police Union in the DBB up to the age of 30. Mandate holders may not have reached the age of 35 at the time of their election.

structure

The young police are similar to the police, from whose officers they are composed, hierarchically structured and oriented mainly to the German police union. Since the regular police in Germany is a matter for the federal states, the respective state associations follow the federal management of the young police. These are based in the so-called state office, which is located in the respective state capital except in Hesse ( Darmstadt ), North Rhine-Westphalia ( Duisburg ), and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ( Stralsund ).
