Jure Pavlič (born April 23, 1963 in Ljubljana ) is a former Yugoslav cyclist .

Athletic career

As an amateur Pavlič won in particular competitions on the Yugoslav cycling calendar, including the Tour of Yugoslavia in 1985 and 1986 and the Yugoslav championship in road racing . In 1988 he won a stage of the Tour of Austria . He also represented his country at the 2004 Summer Olympics / Cycling , where he finished 42nd in the road race.

In 1989 he became a professional with the Italian cycling team Carrera Jeans . For this team he competed twice in the Tour de France , in which he was 74th in 1989 and 134th in 1991 . He also competed twice in the Giro d'Italia , in which he was Giro d'Italia 1989 34th and won the Intergiro classification . Giro d'Italia 1990 he was 27. After the 1991 season, he ended his professional career.
