Justina Klimczyk

Justina Klimczyk (* 1973 in Zabrze , Poland ) is a German costume and set designer specializing in opera and drama.

Life

Klimczyk was born in Poland and grew up in Algeria and Germany. Between 1994 and 1999 she studied stage design and costume design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Professor Jürgen Rose . Before that, she did numerous internships and assistants between 1992 and 1994. a. at the Stuttgart State Opera and at the Grillo Theater in Essen. She gained her first professional experience as a set assistant at the Schauspiel Stuttgart (1999–2001) and as a costume assistant at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg (2001–2003). a. for Martin Kušej . Since 2003 she has been working as a freelance costume and set designer in the field of opera and drama in the entire German-speaking region.

Theater and opera projects
