Bettina Bruinier

Bettina Bruinier (born March 1975 in Wiesbaden ) is a German director.

Bruinier studied opera and drama directing at the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich from 1995–99 . a. with Cornel Franz . As an assistant director at the Staatstheater Kassel (1999–2001) she worked with Armin Petras , Sebastian Baumgarten and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (2001–2005) with Dimiter Gotscheff , Michael Thalheimer , Armin Petras and Jürgen Kruse . As a freelance director, she staged at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Staatstheater Mainz , the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg , the Theater Konstanz , the Volkstheater Munich (2008 audience award festival "radikal jung") and at the Saxon State Opera . Bruinier was in-house director at the Schauspiel Frankfurt from 2009 to 2011 . Bruinier has been acting director at the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken since the beginning of the 2017/2018 season .

Bruinier lives in Berlin and Saarbrücken.
