history
The village is an old church village. It is mentioned for the first time, still under the name Clotycowe , in a document from 1224 as one of the villages that the Pomeranian Duchess Anastasia, widow of Bogislaw I , founded the Belbuck Monastery to found a nunnery in Treptow an der Rega , the later monastery Marienbusch , transferred. The village reappears in 1264 when Duke Barnim I gave it to the monastery in an exchange for the village of Baldekow . The village was also mentioned in a document from 1280 with which the abbot Konrad confirmed that he had given it to the city of Treptow as a fief.
In 1925 the village had 401 inhabitants. The Wefelow residential area was incorporated .
Before the end of the Second World War, the village belonged to the district of Greifenberg in the administrative district of Stettin , from 1938 to 1945 in the administrative district of Köslin , the province of Pomerania . After the end of the war, the region was placed under Polish administration together with the whole of Western Pomerania.
