KB-Records is a German punk - and Oi! Label from Saarwellingen . The independent label has existed since 2002 and has its own sales department, a shop and a mailorder .
history
The label was originally founded in 2002 to market the debut album Die Fäuste hoch der Riotbrüder , which had previously been rejected by other labels. Accordingly, it was initially the band's own label, which was operated primarily by their singer Pascal Gaspard. The label soon opened up to other bands from the German scene, including Riot Company , Unantastbar , Berserker and The Suicide Kings and released various albums there. International bands are Vienna's No.1 from Austria, Paris Violence and Charge 69 from France and Foreign Legion and Goldblade from Great Britain.
In addition to the label, there is also a mail order shop, managed by Protrade Integra from Winnenden, a shop in Saarlouis and a textile finishing shop . Bandworm Records from Magdeburg took over the mail order for a while .
criticism
In mid-2013, the association Laut gegen Nazis returned a donation made by the riot brothers in 2012 and publicly distanced itself from the band. As one of the reasons it was stated that the band Frei.Wild was sold in the mail order of KB-Records and this band allegedly would work with right-wing labels like Rock-O-Rama and Adler-Versand.
