technology
The KTM 400 LS-E Military is a 173 kg Enduro and is powered by a 25 kW (34 PS) 1-cylinder four-stroke petrol engine with 398 cm³ displacement . The engine is the KTM LC4 engine, the displacement of which has been reduced from 625 cm³ to 398 cm³. This measure gives the engine a longer service life and, at the same time, less compression, so that low-octane gasoline can also be used. In addition, the machine has extensive special equipment, including:
- Factory lowering to enable smaller riders to have good control of the bike (at the expense of off-road mobility),
- a reinforced rear frame to carry the standard case system,
- an alternator with greater power,
- Heated grips and
- larger tank with 18 liter capacity.
