Kahlbacher Machinery GmbH is an Austrian company based in Kitzbühel . The internationally active family business produces road maintenance , airport and rail technology for summer and winter services.
Overview
The mechanical engineering company Toni Kahlbacher was founded as a locksmith's business in 1949. The first snow plows left the factory in 1955 and the first snow blowers followed 5 years later . The product range in the field of road maintenance technology gradually expanded in order to meet the growing demands of road traffic. Kahlbacher grew into a full-range supplier for winter maintenance and road maintenance equipment. The company has been EN ISO 9001 certified since 1995 and aims to implement the zero-defect philosophy.
Today the company is in the 3rd generation and produces at two locations, in Kitzbühel and in Amstetten .
The product range includes snow plows , snow blowers , snow blowers, snow blowers, spreaders and sweepers . The products range from small pavement snow plows for municipal use to high-performance snow blowers for use at airports.
With its products, Kahlbacher was the official outfitter for snow clearing equipment at the following major sporting events:
