The limestone quarry on Lohlberg is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon municipality of Jerxheim in the joint municipality of Heeseberg in the Helmstedt district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG BR 076 is 4  hectares in size. It has been a nature reserve since November 18, 1986. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Helmstedt district.

The nature reserve is located west of Jerxheim and is protecting a disused limestone quarry with steep walls up to 20 meters high . Temporary small bodies of water have developed in the bed in the western area or have been created as a species relief measure. The quarry is an important retreat for endangered amphibian species , but also numerous other plant and animal species.
