The Lutterlandbruch is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxon town of Königslutter am Elm in the Helmstedt district .

The nature reserve with the sign NSG BR 101 is around 85  hectares in size. It is almost identical to the FFH area of the same name . The area has been a nature reserve since April 18, 1990. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Helmstedt district.

The nature reserve is located in the Elm-Lappwald Nature Park northeast of Königslutter and southwest of the Beienrode district in the Schunter Niederung. In the east it borders on the Schunter, in the north it is bordered by Kreisstraße 8.

Which is under protection of about 1,500 meters long and 400 to 600 meters wide fen area is mainly of grassland and wet grassland , but also floodplain and swamp forests dominated residues. In addition, tall herbaceous vegetation , large sedge beds and reed beds can be found on partially wet locations.

The lowland area is flooded when the Schunter floods. There are numerous trenches in the nature reserve. In the middle part there are ponds, most of which are used as fish ponds.

In the nature reserve u. a. Knotweed , brook avens and black crested sedge . The narrow diaper snail living in Seggenrieden has been identified in the protected area. The occurrence is the only currently known occurrence in the Atlantic part of Lower Saxony. The Lutterlandbruch is a breeding and food biotope as well as resting and wintering area for numerous bird species.

The nature reserve can be experienced via a boardwalk and an observation platform.
