Kaltenborn village church

Kaltenborn is a district of the municipality Niedergörsdorf in the district of Teltow-Fläming in the state of Brandenburg .

history

The first written mention of the village of Kaltenborn dates back to 1225.

Attractions

  • The village church was built from field stones in the first half of the 13th century. Inside is a pulpit altar from the 19th century and an organ by Johann Tobias Turley .
  • In 1998 residents built a fountain next to the church symbolically in reference to the name Kaltenborns (old German for "cold well").
