Kaltenborn village church

Kaltenborn is a district of the municipality Niedergörsdorf in the district of Teltow-Fläming in the state of Brandenburg .

history

The first written mention of the village of Kaltenborn dates back to 1225.

The village church was built from field stones in the first half of the 13th century. Inside is a pulpit altar from the 19th century and an organ by Johann Tobias Turley .
In 1998 residents built a fountain next to the church symbolically in reference to the name Kaltenborns (old German for "cold well").
