The canton Rosenthal was an administrative unit in the Marburg district of the Werra department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The seat of the cantonal administration was the city of Rosenthal in today's Waldeck-Frankenberg district .
The canton comprised 16 villages and a city, had 5,068 inhabitants and an area of 3.68 square miles .
