Karl Walter Sprungala

Karl Walter Sprungala (born April 14, 1957 in Weimar ) is a German actor .

Life

Karl Walter Sprungala received his acting training from 1982 to 1986 at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin . He then played at various theaters such as the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , the Nationaltheater Mannheim and in the Waldburg in Hergenrath (Belgium). From 2000 to 2005 Sprungala was a permanent member of the Aachen Theater ensemble . Sprungala has been working as a freelancer ever since. In 2005 he completed a workshop with Carolina Pecheny at the Théâtre du Soleil .

In addition to his theater engagement, Sprungala has also appeared in many film and television products since 1985, for example in 1999 as “Jürgen Conrad” in Lindenstrasse or most recently (Jan. 2012) as “ Voltaire ” in Friedrich - Ein deutscher König . Jumpala played the library supervisor in the TV series Mein Leben & Ich . Sprungala also worked in the TV series SOKO Cologne as well as in the series SK Babies and Die Familienanwältin . In movies he was also in The Invention of Curried Sausage by Ulla Wagner , as well as in the Austrian method of Florian Mischa Böder and Parkour from Marc Rensing to see.

Sprungala speaks German , English , French , Italian and Yiddish as well as some dialects . He plays the piano , guitar , saxophone and trumpet .

Karl Walter Sprungala is the father of the actor Pablo Sprungala and lives in Aachen.

In 2010 Karl Walter Sprungala received the Kurt Sieder Prize for outstanding acting for his portrayal of the Grenzlandtheater production "Gretchen 89ff". In 2012 he was in Wilsberg: Halbstark and played in the Aachen edition of the television series Heiter bis tödlich: Between the Lines .
