Karl von Richthofen-Damsdorf

Karl Friedrich Freiherr von Richthofen-Damsdorf (born October 8, 1842 in Berlin ; † February 29, 1916 in Kohlhöhe ) was a government official, manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Karl von Richthofen- Damsdorf received private tuition at home, attended the Joachimsthalsche Gymnasium in Berlin and the universities of Göttingen and Berlin , where he studied law and history. In 1869 he became an auscultator in Berlin and in 1873 a court assessor. As a government assessor he was at the provincial school college in Hanover and the government in Stettin , as a councilor in the government in Erfurt and as a senior councilor in Danzig . In 1888 he took over goods located in the Striegau and Liegnitz districts . 1870/71 he has during the Franco-German War the Hussars "King Humbert of Italy" (1 Kurhessisches) no. 13 served.

From 1898 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency district of Breslau 9 Striegau , Schweidnitz and the German Conservative Party and from 1908 a member of the Prussian mansion .
