Karl von Steinaecker (politician)

Karl Freiherr von Steinaecker , also von Steinäcker , (* February 7, 1809 , † November 10, 1893 ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

He came from the Rosenfelde line of the noble von Steinaecker family . His grandfather Franz von Steinaecker (* 1750; † 1832) was the district administrator of the Greifenhagen district and had bought the Rosenfelde manor in this district in 1779 . His father of the same name, Karl von Steinaecker (* 1778; † 1854) was also the manor owner of Rosenfelde and district administrator.

Karl von Steinaecker inherited the Rosenfelde manor and became Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John and Landscape Deputy of the Greifenhagen district. In 1868 he became a member of the Prussian manor house , to which he belonged until his death, upon presentation of the old and the fortified property in the Duchy of Stettin .

Karl von Steinaecker was married to Euphemie von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt (* 1823, † 1862), a daughter of the Pomeranian general landscape director Friedrich Graf von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt . The marriage resulted in a son and two daughters. The daughter Karoline Mathilde Veronika Elsbeth (* 1847) married the manor owner and parliamentarian Hasso von Flemming , Euphemia Marie Auguste (* 14 December 1854) married Count Adolf von Bassewitz- Behr, Lord of Lützow , in 1873 . The son Fritz von Steinaecker (* 1849, † 1918) became general landscape director and parliamentarian.
