Karlheinz mouth

Karlheinz Mund (* 11. September 1937 in Eberswalde ) is a German Documentary - Director .

Life

As the son of a coal merchant, stoker and farmer as well as a housewife, Karlheinz Mund graduated from school in the 8th grade and learned the trade of a car mechanic . He then made his Abitur in 1958 on the workers and farmers faculty in Berlin . From 1958 to 1959 he worked as a lighting technician in the DEFA studio for newsreels and documentaries . From 1959 to 1963 he studied at the German Academy for Film Art in Babelsberg . After a year as an assistant director , he worked as a director in the DEFA studio for documentary film from 1964 until it was closed in 1990. So far he has worked as a director on over 60 documentaries.

Karlheinz Mund is married to the Catalan painter and graphic artist Nuria Quevedo .
