The Kazakh Ice Hockey Cup of the 2006/07 season was the fifth edition of the Kazakh ice hockey cup competition . The six registered teams played the winner in a tournament between August 30 and September 4, 2006 - on the 50th birthday of Kazakh ice hockey. The title of Kazakh Cup Winner was secured for the second time in a row by HK Kazakhmys Satpajew .

The six teams played the title of Kazakh Cup winners in a single round with five games per team .

For a win in the regular playing time of 60 minutes, a team received two points, the losing opponent received nothing. In the event of a tie, each team received one point.

On the five days of the tournament, Kasachmys Karaganda was able to win the title for the second time in a row. Karaganda won four games and was able to afford a defeat in a direct duel against Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . Since Ust-Kamenogorsk couldn't get beyond a draw against Gornjak Rudny and lost against Barys Astana , Karaganda secured the title with one point ahead.

In contrast to the championship operation, the newly founded HK Saryarka Karaganda did not participate.
