Katarzyna "Kasia" Moś (born March 3, 1987 in Ruda Śląska ) is a Polish singer .

Career

Kasia Moś is the daughter of Marek Moś, a member of the Aukso orchestra . She graduated from the Frederic Chopin - music school Bytom with a degree in piano and cello and then the Karol Szymanowski - Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music at the Faculty of Jazz . In addition, she was tutored by personalities such as Elżbieta Chlebek , Beata Przybytek , Gerald Trottman , Agata Pisko , Anna Serafińska and Marek Bałata . But she also worked with Robin Antin, the founder of The Pussycat Dolls , her father's orchestra, the Lothar Dziwoki Big Band , Borys Szyc or Grzech Piotrowski . She also took part in the musical Król Lear .

In 2006 she took part in the Piosenka dla Europy 2006 , the Polish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the song I Wanna Know , she finished tenth out of 15. In 2012, she took part in the Polish casting show Must Be the Music . There she reached number three. In 2016 she took part in Krajowe Eliminacje 2016 with Addicted , where she did not make it into the final three.

In 2017 she repeated her participation. At the Krajowe Eliminacje 2017 she achieved first place with Flashlight and then represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev . She came in 22nd in the competition.
