Marcin Mroziński

Marcin Mroziński (born September 26, 1985 in Inowrocław ) is a Polish singer, actor and TV presenter.

Eurovision 2010

On February 14th, 2010, Marcin Mroziński won the Polish preliminary decision for Eurovision 2010 and represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Legenda". The final version of the song was unveiled on April 23rd. The performance was originally planned for April 10th, but the premiere was postponed after the plane crash near Smolensk , in which President Lech Kaczyński , among others, died. Poland initially competed in the first semi-final on May 25, but could not qualify for the final.

childhood

Marcin Mroziński has an older sister Magda. In his childhood he sang in a choir and learned to play the flute . At the age of 9, he took 1st place in a Polish children's song festival. He also had his first small appearance in a musical in Bydgoszcz .

Career

In 2002 Marcin Mroziński took part in the first season of the Polish casting show Idol (like DSDS in Germany), and also advanced to several recalls, but did not make it into the top 10. He also took part in the Polish singing show " Szansa na Sukces "(Chance to Success) in TVP 2. In 2005 he again took part in the casting show Idol on the Polish TV broadcaster Polsat , and this time made it to the semi-finals. He then worked as a TV presenter at TVP 1. After graduating from high school , he went to Warsaw in 2006 and studied at the Akademia Teatralna Warsaw drama school . In 2007 he performed at the "Krajowy Festiwal Piosenki w Opolu" singing festival in Opole . He made his theater debut in Warsaw in 2008 in the "Teatr Muzyczny Roma" with the leading role in The Phantom of the Opera (musical) . He has often done the Polish dubbing (film) for some TV films and series, including for productions on the Disney channel or in the series SpongeBob SquarePants . In 2009 he hosted a children's karaoke show for Cartoon Network .
