Katarina Bulatović (born November 15, 1984 in Kragujevac , Yugoslavia ) is a former Montenegrin handball player .

Career

Bulatović played from 2001 to 2005 for ŽRK Knjaz Miloš . Then Bulatović ran a season for RK Lasta Belgrade , with which she participated in the EHF Cup . In summer 2006 she signed the Danish first division club Slagelse DT . With Slagelse she won the Danish championship and the EHF Champions League in 2007 . During the 2007/08 season, the back court player moved to the Montenegrin club ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica . With Budućnost she won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2010 and the Champions League in 2012, as well as the championship and the cup in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In summer 2012 she joined the Romanian club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea . With Oltchim she won the Romanian championship in 2013. Bulatović ran in the 2013/14 season for the Hungarian club Győri ETO KC , with which they won the championship, the Hungarian Cup and the Champions League. In summer 2014 she returned to ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica. In 2015 she won the EHF Champions League for the fourth time. She also won the championship and the Montenegrin Cup in 2015, 2016 and 2017. In the 2017/18 season Bulatović was under contract with the Russian first division club GK Rostov-on-Don . With Rostov she won the Russian championship in 2018. She then returned to ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica. With Budućnost she won the championship and the Montenegrin Cup in 2019. In summer 2019 she returned to Győri ETO KC. She ended her career after the 2019/20 season.

Bulatović was part of the squad of the Montenegrin national team . In the summer of 2012, Bulatović took part in the Olympic Games in London with Montenegro , where she won the silver medal. She was also elected to the tournament's All-Star Team and was the top scorer with 53 goals. In the quarter-finals, the left-hander converted the game-winning seven meter to a 23:22 victory over France. In December 2012 she won the European Championship with Montenegro . At this tournament she was again elected to the All-Star Team and won the top scorer's crown with 56 goals. She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
