Kate Biscoe

Kate Morgan Biscoe (* 1970 in New York ) is an American make- up artist for film and television. Their work was at the Oscar ceremony in 2019 with the Oscar for makeup and hairstyles and the Emmy Award -Verleihung 2013 honored with two Emmy Awards.

Life

Biscoe was born to David M. Morgan and Jean Sargent Morgan and has a brother. She attended school in France and studied French literature and language at McGill University in Montreal . In 1995 she married the film producer Max Biscoe , with whom she has twins. Today she lives in Los Angeles .

Kate Biscoe began her work with the make-up for the 1996 film Sling Blade . Since then she has been involved in numerous television and film productions. For her make-up at Buffy the Vampire Slayer , she was nominated by the Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild for their annual award in 1997. This was followed by nominations from the guild in 2000 for make-up in Devilish and in 2002 for Zoolander . In 2002 she received the Hollywood Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Award for The Royal Tenenbaums . For her work at Die Geisha , Biscoe was nominated for the BAFTA Award in 2006. Her work on Liberace - Too Much of a Good is Wonderful was honored with two Emmy Awards in 2013 . In 2019 she was awarded the Oscar for her work on Vice - The Second Man . She was honored with numerous other prizes for this. Kate Biscoe was responsible for the make-up of Amy Adams as Camille Preaker on the television series Sharp Objects . For this she was nominated for an Emmy in 2019. Other films in which she participated were for example: Tropic Thunder (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Wasser für die Elefanten (2011), Argo (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Terminator: Dark Fate (2019).
