Kathleen Rose Perkins (born November 15, 1974 in New Baltimore , Michigan ) is an American actress .

Life

Perkins grew up in New Baltimore, Michigan, a small town just outside Detroit . The sister of four older brothers enjoyed the alone time practicing roles and performing them in front of the neighborhood. This led her to a high school career where she was very involved in the school and drama choir program. Perkins attended Western Michigan University and after just under three years earned a bachelor's degree in musical theater. After traveling through parts of the Midwest and performing in various regional theaters, Perkins moved to Los Angeles . She spent several years doing odd jobs and taking acting classes.

Career

Perkins has worked with artists such as Chris O'Donnell , Courteney Cox , Christina Applegate, and many other actors. Perkins has appeared in over twenty television series . For example, she had recurring roles in Marriage's… , Navy CIS: LA , Gary Unmarried , Castle and The Game . Her film roles include, for example, the participation in Michael Bay's The Island (2005) alongside Ewan McGregor , Scarlett Johansson , Sean Bean and Michael Clarke Duncan .

Personal

Perkins is a black belt in Taekwondo .
