King Salmon Airport ( IATA code: AKN ; ICAO: PAKN ), formerly also Naknek Air Force Base , is a state airport near King Salmon in the US state of Alaska . According to records of the Federal Aviation Administration , 41,514 passengers were handled, making the airport a so-called Primary Commercial Service Airport .
