The Deadhorse Airport ( IATA : SSC , ICAO : PASC ) is a public airport in northern Alaska . It can be reached from Fairbanks via the Elliott and Dalton Highway . Because it is close to Prudhoe Bays , the airport is sometimes called Prudhoe Bay Airport .
