Kirchdorf is a district in the southeast of the city of St. Valentin in the district of Amstetten in the far west of the Austrian state of Lower Austria , three kilometers from the Upper Austrian border in the direction of Haag . Kirchdorf belongs to the cadastral community of St. Valentin.

The place is on the Westbahn , of which St. Valentin is a railway junction, in relatively flat terrain (270 m) on the Erla . The approximately 35 km long stream flows north parallel to the neighboring large river Enns , but only flows east into the Danube because of the Danube floodplains .

Other places in the area are Windberg, Hofkirchen , Gutenhofen, Viehdorf and Herzograd. The West Autobahn A 1 and Nibelungenstrasse , both of which lead down from the Strengbergen, are only a few kilometers away .
