The Klein Plasten Church is a listed church building in Klein Plasten, a district of the municipality of Groß Plasten in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).

History and architecture

The rectangular hall church is a foundation of the then landlady Margarethe Elisabeth von Kamptz , b. Langermann. It was built in 1731 in a half - timbered frame filled with bricks . She is in a cemetery . The long sides are divided by three windows each with a pointed arch. There are two small, rectangular windows in the gable. The interior is spanned by a flat wooden barrel vault.

The square roof tower in the west is also half-timbered, it is structured by small sound openings . It is crowned by a square tower with a pointed helmet and a weather vane .

A crypt of the von Kamptz family has been preserved under the floor . A remarkable separate burial place for the Blücher family is on the east side of the cemetery.

Furnishing

  • The pulpit altar was made while the church was being built. The associated basket is currently set up separately on the right-hand side in front of the pews. The resulting opening was clad with wood and covered with a simple, red-brown cross.
  • The rest of the furnishings are simple, in light colors.
  • The bell in the roof tower was cast by Gottfried Wosack from Stralsund in 1747. A second bell, cast by JC Meyer in Neustrelitz in 1794 , was given in the 20th century for armament purposes.
