description

The original small hall church was built in 1484. A big fire destroyed almost the whole village and did not spare the church either. The new church was rebuilt in 1798 from plastered rubble stones on the remains . The nave is provided with a slate roof . The choir tower has a hood on which a lantern sits. A bell hangs in it , its inscription indicates that it was cast in the year the church was built. In 1860 it was extensively renovated.

The nave is covered with a flat ceiling. There are two-storey galleries with parapets made of marbled balusters . The narrow, simple pulpit altar dates from the 18th century. The chancel has been renewed in recent years. A window with slug panes was rediscovered, which for a long time was covered by the fire station that was attached to the choir . It comes from the previous building.

The organ with 7 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Seitzmann in 1839.
