Klaus Dobrunz
Klaus Dobrunz (* 1962 in Höxter ) is a German painter and sculptor.
life and work
After studying visual communication from 1984 to 1989 at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences , he studied painting and sculpture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy for four more years from 1989 to 1993 . Here Alfonso Hüppi had a decisive influence on his further artistic development. From 1987 to 2001 he was also a lecturer for drawing , painting, design worked and sculpture. After spending several years in Sweden , where he also worked as an art teacher, he has lived in Bielefeld since 2004 . He paints oil paintings on canvas and creates wooden sculptures. The main theme of his works are people in an urban environment.
