Klein- und Großau is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Reichenau an der Rax in the Neunkirchen district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 210 building areas with 92,781 m² and 284 gardens on 459,939 m² in the cadastral community of Klein- and Großau , in 1989/1990 there were 209 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 867 and in 2009/2010 there were 401 buildings on 872 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 349 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1851 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 327 hectares and 2906 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 278 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 2169 hectares. The average soil climate in Kleinau and Großau is 21.7 (as of 2010).
