Klein Wangersen was created in the 19th century as an extension of Wangersen.
Regional affiliation
Before 1885, Klein Wangersen belonged to the Börde Ahlerstedt in the district of Harsefeld , after 1885 to the district of Stade and since 1932 to the current district of Stade .
Klein Wangersen had been part of Wangersen since the village was founded . On July 1, 1972 Wangersen was incorporated into Ahlerstedt .
