The Klingelbach is a 4.6 km long eastern, orographically right tributary of the Efze in northern Hesse , Germany . It belongs to the river system and catchment area of the Weser and runs its entire length in the Schwalm-Eder district .
course
The stream rises in a wooded area on the eastern slope of the Mosenberg at about 330 m above sea level. NN , southwest of the Eilertshof and north of the Sauerburg estate , and initially flows around the Great Mosenberg in a narrow and deeply cut gorge in the southeast and south. The forest on both sides of the gorge, but not the gorge as such, belongs to the 64-hectare Mosenberg nature reserve near Homberg (CDDA code 164698). After leaving the forest area after about 1 km on the south side of the mountain, the stream flows through fields and meadows in a south-westerly direction, and only the course of the stream itself is lined with bushes and occasional trees. After about 2 km the stream turns to the northwest just before Mardorf and then flows through Mardorf. About 1 km further north-west it crosses under the federal highway 254 , shortly afterwards on the eastern outskirts of Berge , immediately south of the county road 47, to about 175 m above sea level. NN flow into the Efze coming from the south.

The brook belongs to the entertainment area of the Schwalm water association .
