Kolhabi ( Nepali कोल्हवी ) is a city in the central Terai of Nepal in the Bara district .

The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees (VDCs) Kakadi , Kolhabi , Prasona and Sapahi . Kolhabi is located 30 km east of Birganj at the foot of the Siwaliks . The urban area of ​​Kolhabi covers 102.4 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Kolhabi emerged had 23,765 inhabitants (11,463 male) in 4528 households.
