Kolheim is part of the Findorf district in the Gnarrenburg community in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

Geographical location

Kolheim is about three kilometers northwest of the Oste-Hamme Canal .

history

Founding years

Kolheim was founded in 1781 in the course of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor . In 1789 it was stated that the place consisted of only one hut.

Incorporations

The two formerly independent communities Findorf and Kolheim merged as Findorf on April 1, 1929 as part of the incorporation . People of different origins report what is said to have led to disputes and disputes. However, through work and suffering, the mutual hostility subsided.

On April 8, 1974 Findorf was incorporated into the Gnarrenburg community as part of the regional reform.
